scholars, poets, and artists alike,
have had a singular approach to the emotion of rage
it is pure,
it is clear of purpose.
in intensity, a fire!
in intent, a purifying blade.
this is, of course, simply not true.
rage is a manifestation of negativity!
and as in all negativity alike,
it is a corrosion.
to spit acid,
one must corrode their own tongue.
perhaps this toxin on my tongue will be my undoing!
but one thing provides to me a sweetener;
it has been said that
hatred outlives the hateful - of this i can’t yet comment.
but of one thing i will make a promise:
this hatred will outlive you.
